DESCRIPTION This stunning hybrid has striking multi colour blue markings - the photo doesn't do it justice. Notice the beautiful markings on the underside as not all butterflies are beautiful on both sides. All the Preponas have beautiful mostly metallic blue markings and are found in the neotropic ecozones of South America. They are often found feeding on rotting fruit or animal dung.
These are spectacular specimens.
